Not something I created, but…

Charles Clarke’s wannabe leader David Miliband wrote an article in the Daily Telegraph today, saying he’s in tune with the ‘I can’ generation.

Reading through the website’s comments feature, I came accross a highly amusing and worryingly true response:

The era of “I can”.

I can – knife someone and get away with it.
I can – shoot someone and get away with it.
I can – mug someone and get away with it.
I can – terrorize a neighbourhood and get away with it.
I can – lie about Iraq and get away with it.
I can – mismanage the economy and get away with it.
I can – squeeze the taxpayers and get away with it.
I can – screw the armed forces and get away with it.
I can – destroy education and get away with it.
I can – ruin the NHS and get away with it.

I can – do what I like and get away with it!

What would my faithful local Labout MP, having just praised Gordon Brown’s “Budget for the future” (full post later) think of that?
