Quentin Davies defects to Labour

GORDON Brown may well be smiling today as it was revealed Conservative MP Quentin Davies has defected to Labour.

Just a day before he becomes Prime Minister, Brown has seen this former Shadow Secretary of State for Defence join his Party.

However, neither the new Leader of the Labour Party or his newly elected Deputy Harriet Harman have spoken on this defection yet.

This has put a downer on this morning’s news that the Conservatives have been put 5% ahead of Labour in the latest opinion poll (Communicate for the Independent).

19:11 UPDATE: Hunter and Shooter has the most sacthing personal attack on Davies I have seen so far. More updates soon.
