KOS Media launches

KOS MEDIA, who have produced two weekly free newspapers in Kent for the past few years, yesterday launched their latest weekly free papers: eight area-specific papers.

The newspapers, in Ashford, Canterbury, Dover, Maidstone, Medway, Shepway, Swale and Thanet coincided with the launch of KOS Media’s new online TV station yourkenttv.co.uk.

Features of the new papers include local news, sport, weather, business, an interview with a local person and even a page featuring top videos from yourkenttv.co.uk.

Local “celebrities” are suitably impressed. Cllr Rodney Chambers, Leader of Medway Council, stated that “Medway is an exciting and vibrant place with lots of interesting things going on that are worthy of headline news. My best wishes go to the Yourmedway newspaper. I look forward to reading it every week.”

Issue one also featured an interview with Rehman Chishti – and of course I shall be adding the Medway edition to my reading list of local and national papers (currently extending to Medway Messenger, Medway News, Yourmedway, Daily Express, The Sun, The Daily Mail (occasionally) and The Daily Telegraph (occasionally).

So keep your eyes peeled for letters submission in Yourmedway as well.
