Will Paul Clark be standing in Gillingham next time round?

A couple of weeks ago, I got a tip-off from a friend of mine that Gillingham and Rainham MP Paul Clark may not be standing in Gillingham and Rainham at the next election.

My source said that Mr Clark has apparently been “offered” a safe seat elsewhere in the country, which, if Mr Clark takes it, will show the level of contempt Mr Clark holds us residents of Gillingham and Rainham in!

Well, I sat on the tip-off for a while, but then I read this post by Cllr John Ward, and discovered that he has also been given the tip-off.

So it is over to Mr Clark to let us, the residents of Gillingham and Rainham, know whether or not he will be standing here at the next election – and soon!
