So, did you guess it?

It’s 10am and I am in Church (obviously I am not blogging from Church, this has been set up to post at 10am) and am currently praying for forgiveness for adding a little bit of Festive Cheer to Medway’s political elite!

So, how many people guessed that I am “festive”, the mystery emailer who created then sent links to the elfyourself and scroogeyourself videos to all Conservative Councillors in Medway, selected bloggers, the association offices and even the local media.

Rather sadly, though, the idea did not come from me. I shall not reveal who gave me the idea and suggested I do it, unless he emails me and gives me permission to do so, but it was still good fun nonetheless.

And sorry for the emails, John. I had to keep up the act until today somehow…

    Did I guess it? More or less.

    The reason was simple: I don’t know of anyone else around here with the tools, knowledge and inclination to cut out the heads. From your banners(for example) I knew that you were quite accustomed to the use of transparency masks and montages — just as I do in PhotoDesk and Composition on my RISC OS computers.

    The only other person likely to do something like this wouldn’t have had the technical know-how, so it would have been him only if (say) his son was visiting at the time, and did that part for him. Thus it was in reality probably you, I reasoned.
