Well I got it today
In case anyone is interested, I have just received my booking statement from Revival Fire Conferences for Detling 2008.
It confirms that I have booked and sent payment for the full week – and a quick check of my bank account showed me that payment had gone through, so I can now start to look forward to it.
And in other news, I failed my driving test (again) today.

Good news! Another very good event of this nature is Roots, but that is held in the Midlands somewhere, which is too far for me nowadays, and I daren’t be away from home more than a day anyway as anything could happen here at a moment’s notice (it did the only time I was away for over a day).
Nevertheless, all those who have been come back praising the event wholeheartedly, especially the younger folk, most of whom go back every year!
