Every post and page on my website is given a unique number, which can be used to identify it. For example, this post is number 669 and can also be reached by using the Uniform Resource Locator http://www.alanwcollins.co.uk/?p=669.
Well, obviously, post number 666 (not the 666th post, by the way, as the identifiers are determined by posts and pages) was three posts ago, and covered the resignation of Peter Hain.
Isn’t it ironic how some things work out…?

Now, I wonder who that was…..
I think this must indeed have put a “hex” on at least some of us, as I was unable to respond to this until today. I have just been “turbocharged” by today’s Hour of Power (from the Crystal Cathedral) which is always good for a spiritual boost, by the way…
I am not superstitious (and indeed have made a habit of walking under ladders, for one thing!) and the number 666 does not, in itself, concern me overmuch — especially as there is a real possibility that the true “number of the beast” is 616(!)
It is interesting to note in passing that Hain came from South Africa, as did the excellent Rory and Wendy Alec of “God TV” fame. They are an amazing couple, now broadcasting from Jerusalem itself, and getting ever closer to reaching their “one billion souls” target.
