A brief update
Apologies in advance. I always endeavour to approve comments as soon as possible, however, this weekend (starting tonight) I am technically on a training course with Cadets, so moderation, and posting, will be slow.
I say technically, because it was supposed to be what many would term a “residential”-style course, staying on one site; sleeping, eating and learning. However, due to a series of unfortunate events, the accomodation was unavailable, and so the course is now taking place at the squadron of the officer who is in charge of the course.
Happily, for me at least, that is in Chatham, and so I only have to leave home half hour before the course starts, meaning that (allowing for time to “wake up”, eat and gel my hair to make it look like it has been cut) I only need to wake up an hour before the course starts tomorrow morning. That’ll be a 7 o’clock alarm call, then!
In other news, though, I got a nice visit from Tracey Crouch earlier delivering me my prize, and mentioning that it was nice to finally meet me. Rather embarassingly I forgot to point out the fact that we had met before, but it’s not that important. Thanks for the bottle, Tracey!
So my next post will be on Sunday evening, although I shall briefly check emails, moderate comments etc. when I get home tomorrow night, at about 10.
