The changing face of the Conservative Party

It had to happen, sooner or later, but thankfully the time has come.
Alan Duncan, who has a prominent place in David Cameron’s shadow cabinet as the business spokesman, is to become the first Conservative MP to enter into a Civil Partnership.
50 year-old Duncan popped the question to his partner, James Dunseath, 39, “on holiday in Oman on Valentine’s Day”, saying “James joked that if I had not asked him on Valentine’s Day he would have asked me on Feb 29″.
The Daily Telegraph is reporting that “Mr Cameron, who embraced same-sex relationships in his first party conference speech as leader, told The Daily Telegraph last night that he was “thrilled” for Mr Duncan”.
I’m guessing he isn’t the only person “thrilled” for Mr Duncan. Ahem…

Hahaha! Nice pun!!
I believe in corporal PUNishment!!!
Now that’s not punny — err, I mean “funny”!
(Just back from a Council meeting, by the way, and still a bit unwell from a bug all this week).
You think that was bad, John, you should see his *other* comment (it was halted – first, by my spam catcher then, when I realised it wasn’t spam, by my comment policy).
I shall hopefully have time to post about both meetings (last week and this week) once I have given my coursework in on Monday.
I see: he is the “yellow bandit”, but you’re the fellow who banned it…
