Medway Standard

All hail Kelly, our queen of April

Well done on your hilarious April Fool’s article on Medway’s newest town, Chatingham (Standard, April 1).

Not reading the paper in the morning as I usually do meant that I could fully appreciate the joke, and I found it genuinely hilarious,

I wonder how many people skimmed past the name Paolo Fril without realising that it is an anagram of April Fool?

Although I have to say, joke or not, Kelly Brook can be Queen of my town any day.

This letter is also viewable on their website.

  2. I have heard of this Kelly Brook person, mainly via the local media; whereas when I first moved here (some eleven years ago) the only Brook I knew was the one in Chatham (not Chatingham!) where the Jobcentre was located.

A quick Google Image search will tell you all you need to know, John!!

Who needs to be quick, Rob?

    Hahaha, quite right. Quite right!

  6. All I found were typical glamour pics of a typical one-of-many-thousands glamour model. Is that it?

  7. Rob says:

No, you have to search for Kelly, not me! :)

  8. Well, that’s all I found. Boring…

The thing is, John, she’s not just a typical one-of-many-thousands glamour model.

She’s our typical one-of-many-thousands glamour model, born and bred in Rochester.

That, in my book, counts for so much more than simply looks.
