First milestone reached with sponsorship
Tonight I reached the first important milestone in my fundraising efforts for Help for Heroes.
Last September I did a sponsored walk in aid of Friends of Kent Churches, with £75 pledged and raised.
Today my pledges for my sponsored weight loss topped that personal record, standing at £83 pledged and £15 raised so far.
It is a fantastic start – especially as, looking down my list of sponsors, about half are UK taxpayers, meaning H4H can claim Gift Aid to the tune of an extra £14, or an effective total of £97!
It’s a good start. But it’s only a start. My target on this is £200 (not including gift aid contributions), and there is no reason why I should not reach this target. All it needs is your support!
There is still time for you to sponsor me. Help me to turn my lb’s of fat into ££’s for Help for Heroes. Visit alanwcollins.co.uk/h4h to donate online or contact me to sponsor me offline or find out more.
