I&#039;ll just say that they are not regulations (other than siting, height and visibility, but that&#039;s fine here).

However, I don&#039;t like it.

Why oh why isn&#039;t the &amp; on the same line as either of the road names.

Interesting that they&#039;ve used Transport or Transport Heavy for the &quot;Leading to&quot; and the &amp;, but decided to use a different font (perfectly acceptable) for the names. Why not keep it consistent? (I assume its the same font used on the other name signs, but it seems odd to switch when its not necessary).

Bizarrly, due to awful use of space, the actual name of the road takes up only a quarter of the sign?!? Are the council not aware that metla costs money?!?

Maybe it&#039;s just me, but the &amp; stands out far more than &quot;Charing Road&quot; does.

Yet more, excellent design from Medway Council.</description>
