Mayor Boris!
Boris Johnson has just proved the election-day pundits right and taken the crown of Mayor of London.
I have stayed up longer than I’d wanted to (need to be up at 6.30) to see the result declared officially.

ConHome have done a sterling job over the past days — very impressive! I was on their live chat for the last few hours yesterday evening (it ended at a quarter past midnight) along with numerous others, including the two moderators, Liam and Tony.
Really quite something, that was, and our nation has now shifted decisively, so this is an event that will rightly go into the history books.
