Right then, I’m off

Okay then, I’m off on holiday.

Well, not immediately, but I won’t have time in the morning to write this final post (as I’m leaving home at about 8am).

At the moment, I am undertaking a few “housekeeping” tasks to wind everything down – and will completely power my laptop off (as opposed to merely placing it in hibernate mode) for the first time in months.

I am due to return on July 13 – and will post as soon as I am back (and awake!).

In the meantime, John Ward has kindly agreed to moderate comments and post any significant news developments, e.g. the Haltemprice and Howlden by-election result.
