I’m at the airport…

I am currently sat using an internet kiosk at Orlando International Airport. It is 17:10 here and the flight (VS16) is due to leave at 19:35.

I have little time left, but I just thought I’d give you this update. My holiday has been great, but exhausting. I should be landing at 08:30 tomorrow morning – and have a long list of things to do before I can get back to blogging, so expect my next update at about 14:00.

Just before I go (as the clock is ticking way too quickly) I’d like to thank John for keeping this site updated.

Okay so this is later than I had expected. I have now been awake for 27 hours straight and I’m beginning to struggle to stay that way.

My bed is covered with clothes and things I bought in Florida, along with an abnormally large number of letters for two weeks (thank you, Student Finance Direct!) and, of course, me – though I cannot go to sleep on account of all the stuff sitting idly around me waiting to be put into their rightful homes.

It feels weird to be back in Britain. However, the past two weeks went so quickly that they really are memories fading fast – though luckily they are also captured on 6 mini-DV tapes, totalling almost 540 minutes (that’s nine hours) of footage!

I think that I’ll let the videos do the talking as I upload them and edit them over the coming weeks. However, I can safely say that I had a fantastic time on what is my last visit to Florida for a good few years!
