The authority on the New Brompton Academy?

Last month I gave you the news that New Brompton College was looking to become Medway’s third proposed academy.

I initially posted just one line from my “CrackedBerry”: “A letter has gone home to parents of students at New Brompton College announcing a proposal to turn the school into an academy.”, before later updating with information from NBC’s press release.

How did I see the letter? Well it was simply because I just so happened to be at the girlfriend’s house the day the letter was sent home – and her brother is a student at NBC (she is not – ironically her stomping ground is Chapter School). I know as much about the proposal as I have shared with you, and as has appeared in the local media.

Thus I am perplexed that the top result when you Google “New Brompton Academy” (go, try it, you know you want to) is not New Brompton College’s website. No it’s this (apologies for the quality, by the way):

Now I wonder if I could be number one for the Strood Academy as well…?
