New store to open 9am today?

I told you that I’d bring you the latest news on the new Twydall store as I got it, and I’ve just learnt something which could make for an interesting opening day.

The store is, apparently, to open at 9am today. That’s less than two hours after the above photograph was taken showing the Woolworths signage still prominent and the windows still covered.

Until I walked into the Co-op at 7am this morning, I had heard nothing of the new store opening today, and in fact the only clue to this are the words written into the smear “Opening Tomorrow 9am”.

Having been shut away in my bedroom for most of yesterday (I had to finish a Uni assessment), I cannot confirm that the words were there yesterday. However, my colleagues at the Co-op seem to think that they are, and so I can only assume that the store will open at 9am.

I shall of course be there at 9am to find out.
