An online survey conducted by yours truly has revealed a high public perception of the potential danger the White Vulture is placing Medway residents in.
71% of people who responded to my survey believe that ‘[Medway Council's] Smart Car has the potential to endanger public safety in some of the places it has been photographed parking’.
51% also said that the Smart Car should be subject to the same road laws as everyone else.
Interestingly, of the respondents, 50% said that they would vote for Conservatives if there was a General Election tomorrow – the same Conservative administration trying to introduce a second Smart Car.
I should point out here that I support the Conservative administration of Medway Council, and the principle of the Smart Car. As I have said in the past, I do not support the way the Smart Car is allowed to park wherever it wishes in order to penalise motorists – especially as there has been evidence of dangerous parking and driving.

Interesting that many people seemed to think that it shouldn’t be allowed to violate the rules.
Also, where was the survey advertised?
I saw it in your WLM name (I think), and if that was the only place then you’re going to get a slightly biased view (i.e. people will know about it as you rant about it all the time).
Rob – the survey was advertised via my Twitter feed, which is visible on here as well, and my Facebook status (which is automatically updated via my Twitter feed).
