  1. Linda Taylor says:

I would like to point out that the meeting held at Rainham Mark Social Club on 26 November was organised for and by local residents. It was not promoted by Rainham Central Conservatives although local residents were pleased to invite councillors from Twydall and Rainham Central Wards – representing BOTH sides of the A2 geographically as well as politically.

The overwhelming opinion of the meeting was that the application for the hot food outlet on the A2 should be turned down. Residents thank ALL councillors present for their support in this matter.

I trust this more balanced comment will be included on your website.

  2. I am, of course, happy to accept your correction, Linda.

When I said that it was promoted by Rainham Central Conservatives, I was referring to this promotion on their website.

I apologise for any confusion in the wording of the article.
