There’s no money left … at all!

 

Liam Byrne rightly observed in his passing note to his successor that there is no money left in this country, and yes that is a lot to do with Labour’s 13 years of squandering public funds.

But don’t for a second think that we are alone in this mess, as New Zealand satirist John Clarke explains. As Guido rightly said, they can laugh at us “because they are literally sitting on thousands of tonnes of gold?”.
