River: Six by-election candidates confirmed today
Medway Council has today published the Statement of Persons Nominated for the River Ward by-election.
Six candidates will be fighting the by-election, which takes place on Thursday, 12 August, from the three main parties and three minor parties. However, the UK’s fourth-largest party, UKIP, is not feilding a candidate.
The confirmed candidates are: David George Craggs, Conservative; Garry Harrison, Liberal Democrat; John Alun Charles Jones, Labour; Steven Richard Keevil, Green Party; Brian Christian Ravenscroft, British National Party; and Ron Sands, English Democrat.
