Rochester & Strood 2011 Conservative Candidates announced
Rochester and Strood Constituency Conservative Association has announced its candidates for the local elections to be held next May.
11 of the 22 candidates selected by party members in the nine ward branches are sitting councillors, with the other half either replacing retiring or de-selected councillors, or contesting seats not currently held by the Conservatives.
The candidates for the full council elections on May 5, 2011, are:

Though not a member of R&S CCA, this author was invited, along with the local media, to attend the event and take photographs, which will follow once this author has access to a full Internet connection again.

Thanks for the info.
I too am not a member of that Association, and was not invited, so I am grateful for the above info which I have now reproduced at mine.
I hope they are all eligible.
After the last bungled selection, how are the public not to have any confidence?
