The Aims of this site are set out for informative purposes, as, although originally this site was purely for me to air my political opinions, it has grown in popularity and content, and is now administered with a number of aims in mind.

1. To publish the various political opinions of the blog owner.
2. To provide the blog owner with the opportunity to comment publicly on current affairs issues.
3. To provide information about the Gillingham and Rainham Constituency and of Medway as a Unitary Authority, including Councillors and, Prospective Parliamentary Candidates.
4. To provide local (as per the locality set out in number 3) and national news relevant to politics and the local community.
5. To provide information to keep readers up to date with the activities of the blog owner, including letters, campaigning and personal advancements.
6. To promote healthy discussion and debate through the wordpress comment feature (according to the comment policy), including the right to anonymity.
7. To promote local (as per the locality set out in number 3) and national campaigns of importance.
8. To promote freedom of speech (within reason).
9. To promote cross-party participation.
10. To promote ethical values, such as Fairtrade and protection of the environment.

This blog is visited regularly by Parliamentary and Council servers, and I would encourage those people to get involved as well (even if it is using an alias). Regardless of Party affiliation we would be interested to hear your views – I never reveal e-mail addresses or host names, and never unmask people using aliases.
