The Medway Messenger leads today with the story of 19 year-old Husien Panahi from Rochester.
This Chatham Grammar School for Girls (Luton and Wayfield) student is facing deportation after the Home Office rejected his request to remain in this Country after the previous leave expired. An appeal decision will be made on June 28th.

Another motorbike fatality
A young father died on Sunday morning after a crash on his motorbike at the corner of London Road and Elaine Avenue, Strood (Strood South).
Although the victim has not been named, he is said to be a local resident and a father, and comes less than a week after 44 year-old Nigel Cannon died in a similar incident in Maidstone Road, Rainham (Rainham Central).
